If you are suddenly sick on a holiday, you can receive medical treatment at the hospital or clinic on duty.
(No house calls are made.) The physician on duty is announced in the Japanese-language version news bulletin
published on the 20th of the month.

Emergency Clinics on Holidays and at Night
Emergency treatment for internal medicine, surgery and pediatrics is available on
Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and during the year-end/New Year holidays (December 29 through January 3),
8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (reception until 10:45 p.m.).
Please bring your health insurance card when you come for treatment.
